Slocum G3 Glider Science Bay Upgrade for Underwater Acoustic Monitoring
Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a science bay upgrade for an existing Slocum G3 underwater glider from Teledyne Webb Research (TWR) as a sole source because of the uniqueness of the equipment and the compatibility with existing equipment. The upgrade is required to integrate underwater acoustic monitoring equipment in support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s glider program for sustained monitoring of passive and active acoustic signals in Pacific Northwest coastal waters.
