Multi-model Plate Reader with Temperature Control
Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a Multi model plate reader with temperature control from Tecan Spark as a sole source because of the contractor being the only provider able to meet critical parameters or timeframes to support the research and/or business needs of the university. Tecan Spark meets the critical specifications and timeframes that allows OSU to employ early life phenomics to improve the efficacy with desirable traits detected at oyster farms, listed below:
• Product must have a plate reader capable of absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence detection modes for 1 1536 well plates.
• Products must include temperature control to both cool (< 25 Celsius, RT) and heat (i.e. up to 42 Celsius).
• Must contain an integrated imaging component for live cell screening.
• Product delivery, before Spring 2026.
