Continuous reagent handling system

Description

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a Hamilton ML625-CNT continuous reagent handling system from Hamilton Company as a sole source because of the compatibility with existing laboratory equipment and infrastructure. System must feature a dual-syringe drive mechanism operated by a high-precision stepper motor with encoder, programmable touchscreen interface with 2 GB memory, and valve setup configured specifically for continuous dispensing workflows. The system must include chemical-resistant fluid path components made of FEP, CTFE, PTFE, and borosilicate glass, and it must support Concorde CT Hand Probes and Hamilton-approved syringes for optimal integration with existing equipment. Electrical requirements include a power rating of 24 VDC at 2.5A and support for 100–240V AC input. Compatibility with existing Hamilton infrastructure and the ability to operate, clean, and reconfigure dispensing routines with minimal waste and preparation time are essential. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010, Section 5.17 no later than July 18, 2025. Appeals must be submitted to Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management at procurement@oregonstate.edu by 10:00 AM PST on July 18, 2025.
