Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of FAIMS Pro Duo High Field Asymmetric Waveform Ion Mobility Spectrometry Interface from Thermo Fisher Scientific a sole source not on the uniqueness of the product, but rather on its ability to meet compatibility requirements of an existing line of equipment. The interface must be compatible with a Thermo Fusion Lumos mass spectrometer. The Thermo Scientific™ FAIMS Pro Duo High Field Asymmetric Waveform Ion Mobility Spectrometry Interface is the only unit designed to be compatible with Thermo Scientific TNG mass spectrometers. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
