Oregon State University (OSU) intends to contract for the provision of Integrated Acoustic System (IAS) equipment training and technical support services from Kongsberg Underwater Technology LLC (KUTL) as a sole source. This sole source determination is based upon the contractor being the single provider of the required goods and services. There are no other domestic authorized trainers or training programs for this KUTL equipment and only KUTL engineers are authorized to advise regarding equipment repairs and utilize proprietary diagnostic tools. These IAS equipment training and technical support services will be purchased for the Regional Class Research Vessel (RCRV) Project and this sole source will be effective for the duration of the RCRV Project, approximately three years (estimated to end December 2026). An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
