Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of service of the PHSEN (Sunburst SAMI-pH) and PCO2W (Sunburst SAMI pCO2) instruments from Sunburst Sensors as a sole source because the contractor is the single provider of the goods and services. The Sunburst instrumentation was selected through a competitive process at the beginning of the project in 2010. The instrumentation requires servicing and refurbishment to continue operations through the next grant cycle and Sunburst Sensors, being the manufacturer of the instruments, is the only provider who can perform these services. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
